Meet our Chief Genius
Vinay has an MBA from Stanford University and received his BA in economics and mathematics from Claremont McKenna College, from which he graduated with Summa Cum Laude and Valedictorian honors.
Tremendous GMAT Experience
Vinay founded GMAT Genius based on his tremendous experience with the GMAT. Immediately before starting GMAT Genius, Vinay worked for over six years with two different national test preparation companies, teaching full-length and weekend GMAT preparation classes and offering private GMAT tutoring. For the second of these companies, Vinay led their GMAT division and trained all new GMAT instructors. As part of the training process, he sometimes recommended that certain new instructors have their provisional offers revoked because he felt that these instructors lacked the requisite teaching abilities.
Vinay remains incredibly focused on teaching excellence. Over his GMAT experience, Vinay has worked with well over 1,000 students to help them excel on the GMAT. Vinay’s former GMAT students have achieved GMAT scores as high as 770, and have gone on to top business schools including Stanford, Harvard, Wharton, Columbia, Booth, MIT Sloan, Kellogg, INSEAD, UCLA, and USC.
